Tired of normal city tours? Then take a unique and exciting tour around Thailand, on the outskirts of Bangkok, to visit a floating market, Kanchanaburi, and a tiger sanctuary. This full-day tour will show you the exotic parts of Bangkok that make it as special and different as it is.

Start your tour by driving with your guide through the peaceful calm of paddy and salt fields. Stop at a local coconut sugar factory and learn the traditional way sugar is produced, as well as sample oil and sweet treats. Next, visit the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, the most famous of Thailand's traditional floating markets. This 100-year-old market has everything from fruit and fish to tourist trinkets. Hop on a boat and visit the stands in this awesome example of a bustling Thai market.

Your journey will continue as you go on to the town Kanchanaburi. Along the way, you will stop at a traditional wood carving factory and see firsthand how Thai woodworkers create their intricate and beautiful wares. When you reach Kanchanaburi, you will visit the JEARTH War Museum, which deals with the Death Railway built by Allied POWs as directed by the Japanese in 1942 and 1943. You will also see the bridge the Allied POWs built over the river Kwai as part of the Death Railway. In addition, a visit to the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery to see the graves of thousands of Allied POWs will remind you that only by remembering history can we work to not repeat it.

Enjoy a local lunch and then head to the Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua, or Tiger Temple, founded in 1994. Here you will have the unique opportunity of interacting with tigers up close and personal without the fear of them attacking you. Sit near a tiger and pet it as it lays basking in the sun. This is a truly awesome experience you won’t want to miss out on!
